Lace up those running shoes and join us on Saturday, June 20th for our annual Faith for Fathers – Family 5K! This run will be open to everyone and will be a great opportunity to run with dad, or in honor of dad. The Family 5K will start at 8 am on Saturday, June 20th at The Rail Yard Community Park (on the Rail Trail). This will be a fun way to celebrate your favorite father, so register now for the Family 5K.

Introducing the Run Club Challenge!

We’re excited to add a new element to this year’s Family 5K — one that celebrates the growing running community right here in Spartanburg.

The Run Club Challenge is simple: register as part of your running club, and the club that shows up with the most registered members wins $300. It’s a great reason to rally your crew and make a day of it together.

When you register, just look for the running club selection in the registration form and choose your club. That’s it — your registration does the work.

Where do I go?

The Start/Finish line will be located beside the Rail Trail near the NFL Play 60 Park, 353 Forest Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29302.

What does it cost to run?

$25 (through April 13)
$30 (April 15 - May 13)
$35 (May 15-June 13)

Registrations after June 13, are $25, but will not receive a T-shirt.

What time should I arrive?

Packet pickup and walk-up registration will be available at the start/finish line between 6:45am and 7:45am on race day.

What time does the race begin?

The race begins at 8:00am.

Will there be Refreshments?

Yes...we will have water and fruit available at the finish. There will also be shaved ice for purchase.

When and where do I pick up my race bib and t-shirt?

Race packets can be picked up on race day near the Start/Finish Line from 6:45am-7:45am.

Where is the finish line?

The finish line is within 100 yards of the starting line, located at the Rail Yard Community Park (behind the Flock Shop). No need to arrange a ride back to your vehicle.

Will awards be presented?

Awards will given to the top overall male and female race finishers. We will recognize the top male and female division winners, as well.

Do you need Volunteers?

Can I bring my baby stroller?

Sure.

Can I bring my pooch to run with me?

We love our furry friends, but they won't be able to tag along for this one.

I'm not much of a runner, can i walk?

Absolutely! Walkers will start at the same time as the runners.
Note: we will make race presentations around 8:45am. Your finish time may not be posted in the printed results.

How can I be a sponsor?
